It seems that winter is finally
arrived here in Italy.
Here's not snowing
at the moment,
but I can feel that
snow is nearly here.
Well, I hope so!
Sembra che l'inverno sia
finalmente arrivato qui in Italia.
Non stà nevicando al momento
qui da me, ma sento che la neve
è vicina.
O almeno lo spero!
Usually I love winter
and can't wait to see the snow,
but this week I have other toughts
in my mind.
Both Amedeo and Sofia are sick,
but while Sofia is nearly 3 years old
and I know that she just need
rest and some cough syrup
to get well,
seeing little Amedeo (who is just
3 months old) with fever and coughing
is like a knife in my heart.
Sunday morning we also went
to the hospital because
he had so much cough he seemed
to me he cannot breath right.
Every mom out there
know what I've been trough
without need of telling you.
Luckly is he OK, he has just
a bad flu and they give us some
medicine.
Di solito amo l'inverno e
non vedo l'ora di vedere la neve, ma
in questa settimana ho altri
pensieri in testa.
Sia Amedeo che Sofia sono malati,
ma mentre Sofia ha quasi 3 anni
e so che ha bisogno di riposo e
di qualche cucchiaio di sciroppo
per stare meglio,
vedere il piccolo Amedeo
(che ha solo 3 mesi) con la febbre
e un sacco di tosse
è una stilettata al cuore.
Domenica mattina siamo
anche andati al Pronto Soccorso
perchè aveva così tanta tosse
che mi sembrava non respirasse bene.
Tutte le mamme che mi stanno
leggendo sanno cosa ho passato
senza che stia qui a scriverlo.
Fortunatamente Amedeo stà bene,
ha solo una brutta influenza.
Ci hanno dato degli antibiotici
da dargli.
So I would love to see
the snow
and would love to play with
my kids in the snow,
but now all I really want is
that they feel better.
Per cui vorrei tanto vedere la neve
e vorrei giocare coi miei figli sulla neve,
ma soprattutto e prima di tutto
vorrei vederli guariti.
What can I say?
I'm a strong person,
but I can't stand seeing
my kids ill.
Just hope they fell
better soon.
Che posso dire?
Sono una persona forte,
ma non ce la faccio a
vedere i miei figli
che stanno male,
vorrei solo che si rimettessero
in fretta.
